Working Principle
This is a single-stage rotary vane vacuum pump.
When the motor drives the rotor and vanes to rotate, the volume of the pump chamber changes periodically. It continuously sucks out air, moisture and non-condensable gas inside the sealed refrigeration pipeline, and discharges gas out, to create a vacuum environment inside the system. The manifold gauge monitors pipeline pressure; the three-color hoses connect the pump, air conditioner and refrigerant cylinder for evacuation and refrigerant filling.

Maintenance Instructions

1. Check vacuum pump oil level before every use; add or replace dedicated vacuum pump oil regularly.
2. Do not run the pump without oil, it will damage the rotor and vanes.
3. Keep the pump away from water, dust and corrosive gas.
4. After each work, clean the hose and gauge connectors, avoid dirt and refrigerant residue blocking the valve.
5. Store in dry and ventilated place when not in use.
6. Replace the oil filter and seals regularly according to working frequency.

Q1: Which refrigerants can this kit work with?

A1: Compatible with R134a, R22, R410A, R404A, R407C, widely used for residential & commercial AC and car AC.

Q2:  Is this pump 60Hz only?

A2: This XP155 version is 220V 60Hz, suitable for markets that use 60Hz power supply.

Q3: Do I need to buy vacuum pump oil separately?

A3: The pump comes without pre-filled vacuum oil. You need to add dedicated vacuum pump oil before first startup.

Q4: Can it be used for large cold storage?

A4: 9.5CFM pumping rate, fit for split AC, small chiller and auto AC. For large cold storage, higher CFM model is recommended. 

Q5: Are the hoses pressure resistant?

A5: The charging hoses are high-pressure resistant refrigerant hoses, leak-proof for normal refrigerant charging work.
