Working Principle
When the medium flows forward following the arrow direction, fluid pressure pushes the internal spool open, and the medium passes smoothly. Once the medium intends to flow backward, the backflow pressure plus spring force pushes the spool tightly against the sealing seat, to instantly close the channel and stop backflow.

Maintenance Instructions

1. Before installation, clean pipeline to remove sand, welding slag and debris to prevent seal damage.
2. Regularly inspect the sealing surface every 6–12 months. If leakage occurs, check if foreign matter is stuck on the seal.
3. Do not use for medium with large solid particles, which will scratch the sealing face.
4. If the valve fails to reset or seal poorly, disassemble and clean the spool and spring.
5. Keep away from corrosive chemical medium beyond applicable range.

4. Function test: Blow test, forward flow smooth, reverse side shut off tightly.

5. Packaging: Each valve packed individually, with protection against scratch.

Q1: Can this DN32 check valve be installed horizontally?

A1: Yes. It is vertical preferred, horizontal installation is available. But vertical installation gets better back-cut performance.

Q2: What medium can this brass check valve work for?

A2: Clean water, hot water, heating water, light oil, non-corrosive air. Not for strong acid, strong alkali and corrosive liquid.

Q3: What does PN16 mean?

A3: PN16 means the nominal working pressure is 16 bar (1.6 MPa).

Q4: Is thread BSP or NPT?
A4: Standard thread is BSPP G thread (British standard pipe parallel thread). NPT thread can be customized.

Q5: Why the check valve leaks after a period of use?

A5: Mostly caused by dirt, sand stuck on sealing surface. You can disassemble and clean the spool and seal ring. Replace the seal ring if it is aged.
