Purpose

The design intention of the electromagnetic safety lock is to prevent the movable protective door from being opened under hazardous conditions, in conjunction with the control components of the machine.


Manual unlock

When manually unlocking, rotate the triangle key 180 degrees (M5 triangle key can be ordered as an accessory) to twist the latch to the open position. Be sure to avoid interference from external factors on the operating parts. The normal locking function can only be restored after rotating the triangle key back to its initial position. After being put into use, the manual unlocking must be protected with the accompanying plastic cover.

The triangular key TK-M5 (101100887) can be ordered as an accessory.



Emergency unlock

When operating the T-shaped emergency exit in case of an emergency, you need to rotate the orange handle to the end indicated by the arrow. The emergency exit function of TD and TU models is activated by pressing the red button. At this position, the protective door can be opened. Turn the handle in the opposite direction, or pull the button back to its original position, The locked state can be unlocked. In the unlocked position, the protective door is safeguarded against accidental closure.

Installation

Three fixing holes are provided for installing the housing. The electromagnetic safety lock features double insulation. The use of a grounding wire is not permitted. It is strictly prohibited to use the electromagnetic safety lock as a limit stop. The installation location is arbitrary. However, the chosen installation location must be an opening that prevents dirt from entering. Any opening not used for the operating component must be sealed with a dustproof plug.

Set-up and Maintenance

5.1 Function testing
The safety function of the safety switch must be tested. Prior to testing.
The following conditions must be checked and met:

1. Fitting of the solenoid Interlock and the actuator.
2. Check the integrity of the cable entry and connections.
3. Check the switch enclosure for damage.

5.2 Maintenance
It is recommended to conduct routine visual inspection and functional testing according to the following content:
1. Check for light lnstallation of the actuator and the switch.
2. Remove particles of dust and soling.
3. Check cable entry and connections.
