Working Principle

The charger converts 42V AC ship power into regulated DC power. It monitors the terminal voltage of two batteries in real time.
When battery voltage is below 13.3V DC → Yellow light on, start constant current charging.
When battery voltage rises to 14.4V DC → Green light on, stop heavy charging and switch to low current trickle floating charge to maintain battery capacity.
Red light will turn on once abnormal condition like short circuit, overvoltage or reverse polarity occurs, cut off output for self-protection.

Maintenance

1. Regularly check cable glands and enclosure to keep IP56 sealing intact, avoid water ingress.

2. Clean dust and salt spray on surface periodically, do not use high-pressure water jet directly wash the unit.

3. Check indicator lights every week, confirm charging / full / fault function works normally.

4. Check battery terminal and wiring connection, prevent loose or corrosion.

5. Keep working temperature within -25~55℃, avoid direct sunlight for long time.

6. Do not open the housing by non-professional personnel.
