The marine telescopic fall arrestor of model HXFZQ is a speed differential self-controlled fall arrestor. It is suitable for high-altitude working environments such as on ships. It automatically locks in response to the speed difference during a fall to protect personnel from falling.

Description

Principle

This type of fall protection device employs an anti-jaw double-disc braking system. During normal operation, the safety rope freely extends and contracts along with the body, remaining semi-tight and worry-free. When there is a fall, the rope speed exceeds 1m/s, triggering the locking mechanism. The pulling distance is ≤0.2m and the impact force is <2949N. The outer shell is mostly made of aluminum alloy or alloy steel, which is lightweight, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and impact-resistant. The safety rope is made of aviation steel wire rope or flame-retardant nylon.
The anti-fall device adopts an original "double locking mechanism" structure, which ensures stable locking, has a high safety factor, and excellent reliability. It also effectively resolves accidents caused by excessive swinging amplitude during inclined operations and collisions with other objects.

Adaptive Features

Coverage of application scenarios: The product is specifically applied to high-altitude operations in fields such as power, construction, shipping, communication, pharmaceuticals, and bridges. For the marine environment, the product needs to rely on the anti-corrosion treatment of the enclosure.
Usage constraints: Must be hung high and used low; hung on a sturdy and blunt-edged structure above; no more than 30° of inclination for operation; no knotting or modification allowed; stored in a dry and dust-free place.
Forced scrapping: Replace after experiencing a fall or if the webbing becomes aged by UV rays for 2 years. Do not allow for reuse.

Cautions

1. The fall protection device must be hung high and used low. When in use, it should be suspended on a sturdy and blunt-edged structure above the user.
2. Before using the fall arrest device, it is necessary to inspect the safety rope and its appearance, and perform 2 to 3 locking tests (the locking method: when pulling the safety rope at a normal speed, it should make a "tap" sound; when pulling the safety rope forcefully, it should be able to lock. When releasing, the safety rope should be able to automatically retract into the device. If the safety rope fails to fully retract, just pull out a little of it). If there is any abnormality, stop using it immediately.
3. When using the fall arrest device for inclined operations, the inclination angle should generally not exceed 30 degrees. If the angle is greater than 30 degrees, it is necessary to consider whether it may collide with surrounding objects.
4. The key components of the fall prevention device have undergone special treatments such as wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and have been rigorously tested and calibrated. They do not require lubrication during use.
5. It is strictly prohibited to use anti fall devices with twisted safety ropes. Disassembly and modification are strictly prohibited. And it should be placed in a dry and dust-free place.
